Challah Sale is Back

The Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island will be conducting a challah sale to give families the opportunity to purchase their challot for Shabbat. Part of the proceeds of this sale will be used for middle school programs. We will be providing pre-ordered challot every Friday to those who wish to have their child bring home challah for Shabbat. The challot will be purchased from Davis’ Deli and are certified kosher.

Challah delivery dates:

• September 11-Rosh Hashanah, 20-Yom Kippur, 25-Sukkot,

• October 2-Simchat Torah, 12, 19, 26

• November 2, 9, 16, 30

• December 7, 14, 21

• January 4, 11, 18, 25

• February 1, 8, 15, 29

• March 7, 14, 21, 28

• April 4, 11

• May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

• June 6, 13

Cost for the year: $140 ($4.00 per Challah)
