After School Programs for Kids
There are many ways you can come in and play
with us this year! We are excited to offer
two new monthly programs for kids and their
grown-ups! See below for dates and
details...
Shalom Friends
Eight week class - April
22 - June 10
Wednesdays: 9:30 - 10:30 am
We are happy to announce
our newest program for kids at the Jewish
Community Day School, Shalom Friends. Shalom
Friends is an innovative one hour, weekly
music and movement class geared toward
children birth to five years old and their
families.
Classes consist of
singing and interactive movement to original
and traditional Jewish music; arts and
crafts projects; story telling; and a group
celebration of Shabbat. Participants
experiment with musical instruments, dance
with scarves, and even play with alef/bet
beach balls while learning basic Jewish
concepts. Families receive an original
Shalom friends music CD and songbook with
registration.
If you have not yet had
an opportunity to come to a Shalom Friends
class you are welcome to come and try out a
class free of charge, I know you will love
it!
