Parent Association Bylaws

The Parent Association provides services that enhance your child's education and gives you a more direct voice in what happens at the school. It provides an environment to interact with the kids, work with other parents as well as accomplish things that truly make a difference.

Fundraising is a big part of PA. With the monies collected through dues, "box tops for education", East Side marketplace receipts, gift wrap, etc, we are able to purchase educational tools for the kids, fulfill wish lists for the teachers and sponsor field trips that otherwise wouldn't take place.

Another big part of the PA is becoming part of a community. It is an opportunity to get to know other families that share your values, holidays, or child's homework.

If all parents would dedicate just one hour per semester to getting involved - contributing your passion, support and skills - that would really have an impact and be enthusiastically welcomed.

Every effort you make to connect with your child's school sends a strong message to your child and your community that involvement works. Your time is very valuable. What better way could you invest it?
