Parent Teacher Conference

Dear Parents:

Our Parent-Teacher conferences for Grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 will be held on Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8, 2008, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. All students will have a full day of school on both days.

Teachers will be conferencing both evenings, so you may choose which evening you would like to meet with your child(ren)’s homeroom teacher(s). Please call Joy Sullivan at 751-2470 x23 to schedule an appointment. She will make every effort to coordinate your conference time(s) to accommodate any multiple conferences you may have.

Conferences will be scheduled every 25 minutes on both evenings for Lower School homeroom teachers. The Lower School conferences will be with your child’s homeroom teacher and the co-teacher of that grade when possible (some subject teachers are responsible for multiple grades).

The Middle School conferences will also be with the homeroom teachers on both evenings. These Middle School Homeroom teacher meetings will take place every 20 minutes. The subject teachers in Middle School will also be available for conferencing after you meet with your child’s homeroom teacher. You may schedule a 10 minute conference with a Middle School subject teacher when you phone in advance for a conference time with your homeroom teacher or you may sign up the evening of the conference to meet with a subject teacher, mindful of the fact that your desired time may have already been assigned.

Child care will be available for children over the age of 3 years. The child care room will be the Kindergarten classroom on the first floor. Donations for the services will be used for Middle School activities.

We hope this conference schedule proves to be the most convenient and comprehensive conference for you as well as the most educationally sound for your children. Please contact Joy Sullivan as soon as possible to schedule your appointments.
