Welcome to the Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island, where the
love of learning is intertwined with the joys of Judaism. At JCDS we
provide an excellent well-rounded academic education that emphasizes
personalized learning. Each student is enveloped in a warm, stimulating
environment, and nurtured by talented, creative teachers who build
dynamic classroom activities around the strengths and needs of each
individual child.
Our curriculum weaves together ancient and modern texts, Jewish and
general studies into an integrated whole. Through a shared language of
core Jewish values and commitments, expressed through Torah and mitzvot,
learning and doing, we create students who are fully prepared to
participate in modern American life as committed, knowledgeable, Jews.
