Survey Letter

Dear JCDS Parents and Community Members,

Earlier this year, the Community Research Committee of the Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island ran an electronic survey. As you know, the survey gathered information on attitudes about Jewish education and the school, including its facility and location. We write now, on behalf of the committee, to tell you about the survey results. We had a hearty response to the survey and gathered important data.

Attached/enclosed you’ll find a research summary, jointly prepared by Alan Harlam, the JCDS Board President, and Rachel Friedberg, a parent and economist who was instrumental in the survey design and analysis. As you’ll see, we have learned a great deal and the effort has been quite rewarding.
