Testimonials - Our
Parents Speak
I get profound
satisfaction seeing my children learn
about a background that stretches back
into history as an unbroken chain. I
wanted my children to have a level of
comfort with their religion. This is not
attainable in Sunday school; I never
felt it. This also gives a child a great
feeling of identification. As they reach
adolescence they don't need to dye their
hair or pierce their nose to create a
sense of identity. It is a much
smoother, gentler transition into Middle
School.
The teachers are
all excellent and this kind of education
is very rich. Also, I think there is a
certain "aura" to Jewish Day School kids
that is not seen in private school kids.
At their best they are kind,
well-spoken, and confident. I noticed
this before I sent my kids to JCDS. I
wanted my kids to have that "aura".
Lastly, I don't think good schools are
about beautiful grounds and facilities;
they are about the people in the
building.

Our daughter has
blossomed in Pre-K. Her teachers are
thoughtful, creative and support her
development in all areas. She loves to
go to school. While we are always
impressed by the education our daughter
receives at JCDSRI, as an interfaith
family, we also feel fully accepted and
supported.
